Dominick was educated in
England at Eton College, then spent two years in the British
Army (Grenadier Guards, guarding the Royal Palaces, Bank of
England, Tower of London, running a battle camp) before going
to Oxford University (Philosophy, Logic, Politics and
Economics). He spent 14 years in Reuters News Agency before
starting a 20 year stretch at sea during which he passed his
deep sea sailing licence at the British government run School
of Navigation. He crossed the Atlantic in his Tall Ship in 1979
and obtained an MBA and a Certificate of Advanced Management at
Babson College, Massachusetts. Dominick joined the Poets’
Theatre in 1995 and was later its producer for about five
years. He became an American citizen in 2004.
